iphone wont connect to home network

i cant work my new iphone !!

have posted for help on tech forum but if anyone can help an iphone novice id be very grateful xx

Some user simply forget to update the Network Key.

My gf Iphone and my touch pick up the network straight away, but you can not use the Network until Network Key is provided in the settings!

ive put in the key but just wont join - also i have a 3g symbol in top corner but cant access fb or email or anything ? confused r us !!

Have you got the correct cellular data, network settings from your provider? Try Reset Settings in General/Network/Cellular Data Network.

Sounds simple but have you got wi-fi enabled? Try turning it off and on again, then try turning the phone off and on again.
Finally try resetting your home network.
Hope something works for you!

Just an after thought. What network are you on? Have you ever used the wi-fi, and is the phone set up to receive your emails?

my dappy daughter forgot to tell me the last 2 digits of key !!! d'uh no wonder it wouldnt connect !! ok am on home network ok

phoned 3 and they told me to put in three.co.uk in some bit so will check 3g connection when im out in a bit

i need to go to a 3 shop to see if they can do anything to help me take my contacts from my virgin sim to onto my 3 sim - fingers crossed !!!
