30 days notice to cancel, but PAC code immediately....
I am coming to the end of a contract with O2 (CPW).
I obviously have to give 30 days notice before the end date of the contract, but they inform me that I can immediately request a PAC and use this at any time - and by using it ends my contract.
Is this correct ? - Isn't this a way of not having to give 30 days notice !?
As it is CPW I don't always believe what I am told, so wondered whether anyone else had come across this.
Thanks in advance

They'll still bill you to the end of your contract.0

Usually if you're not out of contract they'll require you to pay off to the end date until before they'll issue the pac.
If an agent is offering to end your contract early for free I'd be careful, they may still bill you when/if they find the error !0 -
If you use your pac code within your final 30 days your contract will be ended and as you pay in advance there should be no more to pay, unless you go over your contracted mins/texts etc. before porting.
