Can i cancel my vodafone contract as i have never signed a contract

Hi everyone,

I have never actually signed a contract with Vodafone as i got my contract via a website mobilephones.co.uk, and i was pretty sure i never actually signed the contract and sent it back.

I wrote to them asking for a copy of my contract and they wtoe back saying that they cannot provide me with any contracts with my signature on it.

I would presume then that they do not have one?

Does this mean that i can effectively cancel my contract as i have never signed one?

Hope someone can help please.

Thanks x

    Brilliant!!!

I never actually signed mine either...Can I get out of that?

Come to think of it, I didn't physically sign my credit card agreement, so can I get out of that too?

I'm pretty sure you agreed to the contract online when you took the package. I'm also pretty sure it will say using the product signifies your acceptance of their T&C's.

I tried to sign mine online with a marker pen and made a right mess of my screen. :rotfl:

You agreed to the T&C's, otherwise you couldn't have taken out the contract. If they change the T&C's, it may give you a "get out".

This has to be a joke?

People should not be allowed to take out contracts for anything if they are this daft.

If there was a verbal agreement or you used the service this would normally be enough to enforce a contract. So the answer is no in all likelihood.
  • Simple question thats all, i wanted the contract and still do, i was simply asking since i have no signed documents whether i was able to get out of it if i wanted to.

    Another helpful bunch of peeps.

    Thanks

For the future, ALWAYS copy and save the T&C's at the time of contract - these are the only ones that apply.

You have more chances of winning the lottery tomorrow and saturday than being able to cancel your contract with vodafone i'm afraid
