Bill for SKY came to £108, any advice??

Hi my bill for sky came to an amazing £108 last month. We have the full package HD downstairs, SKY + upstairs (multi room) and calls. We pay broadband through BT at £80 a month. It seems that we are not currently in the area for freeview.
I have convinced my hubby to have freeview HD upstairs although he says we'll need a digital arial etc. (Our tv upstairs has freeview built in) think he's trying to stall by saying it'll be too expensive.

Any suggestions on how to sort freeview and lower my bill!?
(We are on the phone with sky theyve offered 20% off our bill)Joke!

Have you considered using a digisender (available from Argos etc) rather than paying out for multi room?

£80 a month for BT Broadband seems a bit excessive!!

It must be BT business broadband at that price. If so then Sky wouldn't be an option. Sky's unlimited broadband would be £7.50.month if it is available where you live.

What is the breakdown on the call charges. If it all landline calls then make sure you change to Skytalk unlimited so daytime calls are free. Unlimited also saves you 20% on mobile calls and gives some free international calls.

Has it recently jumped up in price? Are both boxes connected to the phoneline? If they're not connected you may be getting charged full price on both rather than the cheaper £10/month multiroom charge.

Do you need HD? Could you drop it down to standard def, saving you £10 a month.

Do you need multiroom? Get rid of it and save yourself another £10 a month.

Do you need all the packages? If not drop it to the basic package of £18.

Use your existing dish to get Freesat HD on a Humax Foxsat HDR. Based on your present expenditure it will pay for itself in a couple of months.
No BT Broadband service costs £80 a month-please supply a breakdown of your bill. BT is one of the most expensive-but not that much!
