Classic carolt mentalism! She combines two random events and creates a scenario in her mind, then goes from idly mentioning it into creating an elaborate storyline into a frenzied oratory about how it all makes sense now. By the end of it she is all excited and sweaty and has to run off upstairs for some urgent vibe relief to calm her back down again - it's the carolt equivalent of prozac.

The other day she has herself convinced that I was a divorced father of three. She was so excited by that one that she fairly wore the vibe down to a nubbin and got through 5 sets of batteries! :rotfl:

So funny, so delusional, and as true as all the other story's that carolt comes up with (i.e. she is not buying because she was gazzumped, she's not buying because she was too savvy and saw the crash, she's not buying because of schools for her gifted daughter, she is a school teacher, she owns her own school, she works for an MP, she has just obtained a new part time job after being long-term unemployed....) the deranged stories go on and on.

I had to laugh when she came back about one minute later and said that chucky and I had NEVER been online at the same time, when in fact what she meant was that at that moment in time chucky was not online. Unless of course she has invented some sort of machine that instantly can investigate such matters.

In fact are chucky and I not online right now?

Nah, she is just throwing sh*t around and hoping that some sticks. She will use some of her sockies to repeat the sh*t to aid the sticking. Pity she doesn't put this sort of effort into raising her children. One wonders how her child managed to become so 'gifted' in the seemingly absence of all parental stimulation and involvement, though many genius children had unhappy and neglected childhoods so perhaps it's all part of a grand plan?

    The irony.

I didn't miss the pun at all, I just didn't see why I should be dragged into it, when we haven't even crossed paths on here before.

I hope that you are not a policeman with your extraordinary ability to leap to wrong conclusions, it would be a bit tiresome for those that you kept arresting because they had remotely similar sounding names to criminals

But you did miss the point (punt), as you were not dragged into that comment, it was at chucky for his constant drivel on off topic stirring.

Anyway, good conversation since so lets just bury it there, deal?

As for chucky, I trust that he can also contribute positively. But looking at his previous posts going back some time, I think it would be hard for a leopard to change his spots. He seems to very much enjoy in engaging in confrontation rather than intellectual discussion - however there are glimpses of sanity, so there's hope.

The point is that a house price drop has been reported. Cue a load of aggressive and downright nasty posts. Guys it's only .6% - chill.

Worst part is I don't really care either, I personally would rather have stagnation or minor falls along with low interest rates than climbing prices and the possibility of rates going up (although it would quite a lot more than houses recovering for that to happen right now)
