scaredy, beanie - thanks for what you've said, but it's really hard to see that right now.

Pap - when you've done it, could you do some volunteering at the local deaf school (just off Falcondale Road if you don't know where it is!). Or do you have an alternative plan for using it?

Sounds nice. Can you ask her whether she'd like to adopt a 43 year old?

I will just volunteer really, I have already looked into the deaf school. I did dip my toe into uni, which is levels 2 & 3, but I don't think it will eer happen. However I could do levels 2 & 3 as standalone units. If i reach level 3 I can actually be paid to sign which would be amazing. For now though I just want to do level one which is £320

    Kat,
I'll probably be starting one in just over a year if I want a Masters in Housing. I think I'm doing the right thing but keep having little wobblies.

We can compare notes on the 18th

Are there any grants you could get? Going off at a slight tangent, have you thought about Makaton? or is it definitely BSL that you want to do? The Makaton course at my local place (pm me if you want details) isn't too expensive.
