Thoughtful Thursday 8th July - daily chat

Hi everyone! :hello:

Hope I haven't duplicated a thread!Morning all, hope everyone's well. I am a bit annoyed with myself today as spent a bit too much last night out with a friend,:( but I am determined to just dig in and make my money last until my "changeover day" next Tuesday!

Oh well, at least I should get a few NSDs! What's every one up to today?

Jo :)

    Wow that's good value Claire.

Morning Jo, SRM and all that follow.

I have to go get my coil checked tonight (drop in clinic, I hope I'm not waiting too long) then have my drum lesson, and I need to nip into town to get my meds. Other than that just a lazy one reading, hopefully outside if it's nice enough.

Got 3 pairs of lovely jeans i had for mothers day size 14 that in the next few weeks i'm going to get into, and a lovely pair of grey trousers my mum bought for me size 14 and my red dress 14, they will fit :)

Gonna go and clean for a bit now, until Nathan gets up (sports day and he wasn't picked to go in anything)

That's great Claire! Maybe it's a good thing you didn't like the dress, it probably wont fit by the time of the wedding anyway! I'm going to get weighed at Boots cos my scales are terrible. I'm going to do it every four weeks so I can keep an eye on it and hopefully see it coming down.

  • Morning everyone,

Jo - morning and thank you for starting the daily chat.

SRM - that made me giggle and as you said there's always tomorrow!

Claire - wow that's a bargain and more importantly well done you on the weight loss.

Ames - enjoy the reading. I can't wait for my OU course to be over, so I can curl up on the sofa and read/cross stitch until my hearts content.

Today I will be doing some reasearch for my next assignment on globalisation and ethical food production/trade.

    Morning all

LMC - Rather you than me on that assignment.

Today I shall be hiding from the sun and trying to get my blanket finished -it's so big and heavy, will be great in the winter.

DD2 got home at 8pm from her trip to thorpe park - shattered and soggy but sounds like they all had a great time.

Roll on winter - bored of this relentless heat now...I know lots of people think I'm crazy but I really do prefer winter.

I'd like to save up and buy myself a treadmill next year, any recommendations?
