No intention of being anything, sorry if you thought that - as new I wanted advice of whether to return it or not?
I didn't want to fiddle with a new machine and invalidate the warranty!!

Personally I would give the keys a clean first - old bank card/business card covered in a micro fibre cloth, ran along the rows of the keyboard (whilst carefully holding the laptop upside down) usually gets lots of polystyrene (from unpacking etc) crumbs etc out.
I'd do this and give it another chance. If it happens again with no evidence of sticky keys or the like then yep, take it back.0
