Cancelling my 3 mobile phone

Hi, I've got a three contract and its now out of date as it ran out in November 09, I rang three up and told them to cancel my account. that was then three month down the line i got a letter from demanding money! I paid and though ok that must be all of it, now again today I a bill for another two months! I rang then and said I hadnt cancelled it! I said OK I will pay this two months bill but I'm not giving them 30 days notice as my contract with them is now out of date! am i right in saying this? please can someone give me some advice?

if you want to be fightsty:mad:: all calls have to be recorded so you should demand to speak to english based supervisor (delhi ones have no clue what they are talking about) and tell him/her that you have given them 30 days notice 3 months ago , you want your money back and contract being ended up immediatly.

option two:A: send letter by recorded post giving them 30 days notice as of today (you dont pay for last month as you always pay month in advance)

3 are a nightmare, I agree ask for a supervisor or you just go round in circles and be very firm, I had a nightmare trying to cancel with them as well. Once I spoke to the supervisor and said I would be putting in an official complaint in writing it was all sorted put very quickly.

    Good luck!

Or you could just do it the easy way, get your pac transfer your number toa PAYG sim on a different network then thats it your contract has been terminated, you will get a final bill requesting payment or telling you that you have a refund avaliable

With 3 thats easier said than done, I took me three 45 minute phonecalls and sheer persistence to do this!!

They continue to tell me they were 'updating the computer and wait for the pac code to come through' and then offering me new deals to try and get me to stay......it was painful!!!
