Lloyds TSB Graduate Account

Hi all,
I have a Lloyds TSB graduate account, since graduation in Aug 2008. Last year (1st July 2009) I agreed a 12 month reduction plan on my overdraft, having it reduce by £100 every month to £1000 (as it as at £2,200). This has now come to an end as the 12 months is up.
I went to use my card today and it was declined, after lengthy discussions with Lloyds my overdraft ended on 02/07 about 5 days ago. Now they claim to have sent me a letter to inform me of this, however I have not received a letter. The only letter I received from them was a letter advising me that my interest free O/D amount would be dropping from £1500 to £1000. I have now spent almost 2 hours on the phone to them to sort this out and have managed to get an O/D of £1,170. However, nobody seems to be able to inform me why it was cancelled. I have also been informed that my credit rating is bad; I appear to have a default on it. As I have never missed a payment on anything, I can only assume this is down to the O/D, is this reversible?
The problem I now have is that this is not interest free, and in the last 5 days I have occurred £161 of charges (plus interest), which apparently they will not waive and I am liable for. To make things even more difficult I actually now live in Cyprus so cannot make it a branch to discuss in person. What do I do? Surely I am not liable for these charges, they did not inform me! And all the information regarding graduate accounts states that you will have an overdraft of £2,000 which will decrease by £500 every 6 months after the 1st year. Meaning I should have some overdraft for the whole 3 years.
Where do I stand on this? And who should I speaking to?
Many thanks,
An extremely stressed overseas person
