hi ya all im the one who wrote it on there wall first to notify ppl ( im deborah franklin ) i think its disgusting that they have done this , as ive said in a post on there wall my card came still with the hanging thing attached so in my theory looks like they have just been taken off the shelf and posted to us , whats more worrying is was this comp a con /spam ??????? and what they could have done with our details , as a proper compertition wouldnt have dont this im sure , i was going to give my daughter the card to treat herself ( she got all 5`s in her sats results sorry im still git proud lol ) how embarassed would she have been when it got refused ?!

Hey people,
I just read your post and rang the number on the back of the gift card.My card was blank too, the lady on the phone said something went wrong with the till and before they noticed the cards had been sent out.
she said shes had loads of calls and it is trying to get the balances on the cards.She asked for my name and phone number and said if the i.t dept cant manage to get the money on the cards (shes got my card numb) then they will contact to send out a new card.

I think it has been a genuin win just computers failing

I received my card this morning and just rang JJB Customer Services to check the balance and they advised that there was an error and it had not been loaded with any credit. They said they are looking into the problem and will phone back with with any updates.

She did mention that it could affect up to 300 gift cards:eek:

I had one card last week & spent it no probs. This arrived by normal post in a bright pink envelope. I'm awaiting a second card.

just rang jjb like someone suggested on mn facebook page they are taking details of everyones cards and trying to find out wat the problem is

Thanks for the heads up and apologies for all the problems this comp has generated (it was me that originally posted the comp on here... I've not even received my card yet...).

I'm confident that this is a genuine comp and genuine company as they ran a comp at Christmas and loads of people on here won, with no problems regarding prizes. Also the Tampax Mother Nature adverts are regularly on TV.

I think what has happened in this instance is that they launched the comp without realising there was a glitch and unexpectedly hundreds of people won. They've obviously did the right thing and honoured those wins, but probably didn't anticipate that so many people would win so quickly! It's been a major balls up and they're struggling to put things right. Fingers crossed this all gets resolved eventually.

My card arrived today but I haven't checked the balance on it yet. I hate ringing people up, is there a way to check the balance online?
