I'm no vodka expert but used cheapo vodka for my Mars Bar vodka and it tasted great.I don't possess a filter.
What about soaking the labels off the bottles and tying a luggage label around the neck with the flavour written on in felt tip.Snootchie Bootchies!0 -
What do you do with your filter after you've used it 5 times? Do you use a new one, bag it and keep it in the fridge, do you use an older one after you've filtered lots of water, or do you just filter your water back through it again and have vodka flavoured tea?;) I don't drink a lot of vodka, but when MIL comes to stay (about once a year) we seem to go through loads (funnily enough) and I'm all for buying cheap but letting her think I've not
. Mr TM likes a drop now and again, as does my sisterbut don't see her v often either.

In my home town there's a place called Bar Soviet that sells about 30 flavours of vodka, some real weird stuff in there!
Chocolate-mint is definitely my favourite!0 -
In my student days we used to get watermelons and infuse them with vodka - great for parties! All you need to do is get a watermelon, take a plastic funnel, stick it as deep as you can into the melon and pour in the vodka. Keep topping it up over the next 4-5 days (keep it in the fridge or somewhere nice and cool) - you should easily be able to get a litre of vodka into the melon during that time. From what I can remember, it had quite a kick to it!
Plus, we could always truthfully tell our mums we were eating plenty of fruit0 -
