hi if you cancel your contract early due to increase in price of you monthly bill, can you keep the phone? if so does anyone have a link of where it says this? like ofcom or somewhere like that,,
i hear some say you can keep phone, and others say you have to return it, so i guess i,m looking for clarity of links that confirm you can keep phone,

What do you mean by ' increase in price of you monthly bill' ?
If they change the terms of the contract by increasing the cost of some elemental (apart from VAT), then yes, you can keep the phone.
If you pay off the contract, also yes.0 -
yes due to them charging for going over 500mb, where does it say you can keep the phone? is there a link you can show me? i just want proof before i ring them0

There are two issues here.
One the phone is yours from the moment the contract starts, so yes you can keep the phone.
Two is the 500Mb, I'm not going to go over the entire thread, but Vodafone have *always* had a Fair use policy of 500MB, it's been on all the marketting material just in small print. they were just not are enforcing in in the past. Due to abuse of that policy and over use they now are enforcing the limit. So if you go over 500MB you get charged. This is not a change to your contract, it's been there for years, so there is effectivly no price change to the contract.
I'm also not going to go over the unlimited / fair use policies, it's been discussed a million times and even the ASA say that unlimited as a merketting term can be something that has a limit.0 -
