Help - orange/credit check

Hello,

It's my first time posting here so apologies if this has been asked before ir it's in the wrong place...

I applied for an iPhone 4 with orange and I failed the credit check.

I got my credit report from Experian and my score is worryingly low.

I've applied to be on the electoral register at my new address but this hasn't updated on the Experian system yet (I have been registered at all previous addresses).

Also my bank account, credit card, personal bank loan and current mobile account are all showing as registered with my old address.

I'm hoping all this will update once the electoral roll info comes through.

I'm still worried about how low my score is though - my report shows all my accounts have been perfectly maintained, no missed payments, no credit searches in the past year. I have moved around a lot in the past few years which may be part of the problem.

What can I do to improve my score? Will it automatically go up once electoral roll info goes on there, and my account address info has been updated?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Chris.

Once the electoral roll info goes in and gets linked to your old address your score will up. This nearly always happens when you move, it's take a while for the info to catch up...

    Moving around alot doesn't help.

Orange are one of the easiest to get a contract with some if you cant get with them thats not a good sign.
