And 'Very interest Sara. So MrKermie, anything to say in your defence......!!' was pretty daft too... that suspended person could have been anyone from any of the hundreds of Freecycle groups in the UK.

I doubt me and sara are from the same one as she said "her" in the above reply but i am a he and i have not as yet been taken off the site just this woman arguing via e-mail and generally having ago about not being honest oh and the bidding on the auction (daft thing is she bids then brags about me not getting my money for the items)

I don't know a great deal about Freecycle (am a member of my local group but I've yet to use it). Are the moderators self-appointed? If not, is there a higher power you can complain to? If this woman suspects you of taking or requesting goods for resale without declaring your intentions, then surely that is something which shoud be addressed via Freecycle, and not by resorting to unethical and possibly even illegal "revenge" tactics. This individual should not hold any sort of position of authority or power in the Freecycle network.
Are these the only transactions under that ebay ID? She's probably set up an eBay account purely to abuse it in this way, so unfortunately I don't think she'll be too upset about the prospect of getting banned from eBay.

Yep, what she's done is completely against the spirit of Freecycle (while possibly in her mind defending the rules of Freecycle) and she shouldn't be moderating a group.

I believe you can ban certain bidders from your auction. How about Contacting ebay and forwarding her message saying she isnt going to pay you(to get your listing fee back),then relisting the items and banning her from bidding on them?
She is probably one of these people who searches ebay for items that are on her freecycle list and then makes up scenarios in her head that she believes to be fact just because of coincidence.
She must think the world is a very small place.

What i was getting at was i didnt see the relevance of you posting the email, the OP had already stated the facts and you putting that seemed odd as they werent asking for help on that issue but how to deal with someone sabotaging an ebay sale. The obtaining things from freecycle was just backround info and irrelevant as they stated this is not the case here.


The rest of my post wasnt aimed at sara but merely my opinion on the matter ,

Auction interference is agains ebay rules. I would send the emails to Ebay including the headers.
