  • I had to go to the doctors today to get the results of my blood tests. It sounds daft but at least I know now what's actually wrong with me instead of just feeling rubbish. After that I was going to go to the pharmacy and get my prescription (bye bye £7) but...

Apparently I have a thyroid disorder which will need treatment for... well ever (damn more prescriptions...) and then the doctor tells me about exemptions! So I've filled out a form at the surgery, go down to the pharmacy thinking well at least this will be the last time I need to pay for medicine. The lady told me that I didn't need to pay even though I had just applied for the exemption. Thus a saving of £11-12 and the thought of being treated for my illness is makin me feel better all ready.

Unfortunately the pets were almost out of food so we had to buy guinea-pig and rat food which came to about £6.

I've spent 1.40 on a chicken salad wrap and a bottle of water for lunch. Will be taking my own tomorrow.

  • I had a £1.49 lunch (blueberry muffin and two cups of tea lol)

And a £1.70 dinner (diet coke quavers and a banana)

Oh and I spent £2.08 posting an item I sold on Ebay. I only charged £1.50 for postage but still, it's a £19.42 profit on something I was given free!

Well, things didn't go quite according to plan today! So here is my breakdown:

£2 soft drinks and snacks for me and collegue. She had a rotten day and felt I had to cheer her up.

£5.10 at my weight loss meeting

£1 on chips after the weight loss meeting  :rotfl:

Total: £8:10 and my most expensive day in absolute ages!

  • £3.52 on life's essentials (Diet Coke and some eBay parcel packaging).

Also got paid £50.00 owed to me by a friend from ages ago that I thought I would never see.

Second no spend day in a row.

Need to buy school shirts for teenage son tomorrow, so far he only has 2 and I think it is beyond the realms of possibility that will be enough!

Good news and bad news today.
Good news, I've had a no spend day
Bad news, That's just as well because I've already gone over budget for the week
More bad news, I've just found that my car has a flat tyre, so I'll have to get a replacement, and I don't get paid until Friday
Good news, a couple of books that I put on ebay have sold, raising £10, minus postage
Bad news, 4 other items that I'd put up for auction didn't sell.
Debt free since December 2015. It can be done
