Is someone forgetting to read the bit about psychiatric intervention, self harm and suicide attempts? Or is that 'normal' teenage behaviour?

Actually it probably is for depressed teenagers, however my point was that the OP going for DLA and using a justification that her daughter doesnt want to get up in the morning or wash is not going to add many points to her campaign.

But they're both care needs. It does ask in the DLA form about needing help with one's apperance and reminder to get up.

yes it does come and go i have my good days and my bad you can have bad weeks even months or years and i have both dyspraxia and dyslexia, some days i can spell a word other times i cant, look up dyspraxia and dyslexia you might understand more

    Thats rubbish, utter rubbish.

I dont need to look dyspraxia up since I lived with someone with severe dyspraxia for nearly 20 years and Im currently watching my nephew start to re-learn basic tasks ATM and neither of them can go from posting something that's like a diffrent language to perfect syntax and spelling overnight.

Its been the same with everyone else I know with dyspraxia, no miracles in writing and spellings overnight.

I had a feeling other problems might be brought up after my post, and, guess what Im right:D

So what's your point? Is it that ash is lying? That's how it reads to me, I hope I'm wrong but that's the implication as I see it.

These components will probably entitle her daughter to lower rate care.

Needing supervision to prevent suicide/self harm might bump it up to middle rate care.

Dyspraxia often called clumsy child syndrome effects your hand writing not typing/spelling that's dyslexia.

Myself & my younger son both have dyspraxia & can spell perfectly fine infact our spelling ability is probably above average.

Our handwriting however is diabolical although mine isn't helped by my arthritis in my hands as they get cramps really easily which prevent me from writing at all at times.

Ash's grammar is probably effected by their depression which effects your ability to concentrate & the bad spelling will be down to their dyslexia.
