What was the offer? Very low? Too small = too small for the money = over priced.

It was a bit low but they hadnt their house sold anyway so didnt matter

I know of someone who paid a surveyor to come out and value her house (was on the market with an estate agent but he kept telling her the house was on at the right price but wasnt selling)

So she got the valuation done and he was say 15K less worth than what the estate agent was telling her so wondering is it worth doing? She dropped the price and it sold

I really dont know how much to drop it by, I think the problem is when we first put the house on the market the agent has overvalued the house giving us false hope of what we could achieve, ever since we have just been playing catch up with the market.

I fear now that what we may achieve is not enough to climb onto the next step of the ladder and the past year as been a complete waste of time:think:

Unfortunately your house is only worth what someone is willing to pay. You could try dropping in increments until you get a biteif you really want to move.
