They sell luggage scales (not digital though) in our local pound shop (Huddersfield). I bought a set and filled a carrier bag with packs of sugar and it was very accurate! I was impressed0

i use one i got from petrol station for about £2 when filling up it is the same sort of type anglers use.it has a hook that you use to lift bag and reading is a needle on a scale.
the few times i have used it they have been fairly accurate weight comparable to airport scales and also at post office when sending fairly heavy parcels.
one of these

Waste of money, just use your bathroom scales and measure the difference between just you and you holding the item in question. Plenty accurate enough.0

We have some we bought in the USA and take them away with us each time.I believe Morrisons sell them, my friend bought some there.
It's ok using bathroom scales before you go, we used to always use that method, but you need to check before you return home, especially if you have been shopping.

This is the one that I have, it goes everywhere with me. I prefer the digital one because it beeps when it is done and then stores the reading, so you can still read it after you have put the case back down.

I paid full price, but they are now on offer at £10 so I bought another for my sister.
(ps I have no connection, other than as a satisfied customer)I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

Yep, we have those and are very pleased with them, small and light enough to take with you too if required.0 -

Lakeland shops or on their website - cost about £20. Lift them up in the air with the luggage attached and they bleep then you can put them down and read the LCD. Very accurate - we have had them a couple of years and are very pleased as they are light so we put them in the hand luggage and take them with us - bathroom scales too big to get in there
Amazon didn't have them at that price when we bought ours.0 -

You could perhaps tuck the bathroom scales in the back pocket of Martin's new super-duper flight jacket? :money:0 -
100 dollars plus for a flight jacket - rather take the b.scales :eek:0
