SO went to use the sat nav today (used it yesterday too) but today, no steet view!

The little yellow man to activate this has gone, i havnt updated or touched any options. A google throws up the same issue dating around march time but no solutions....

I dont suppose anybody else has had this issue and solved it?

Heres an example

I dont get how everything can completely change though without an update, it also requested me to re download speech!

I hate to say it, but that issue seems to be a repeat. Looking at Google, it seems that Street View has gone missing before.

One of the things about the Android OS is that Google can delete any app from your phone whenever they want whether you like it or not. Have a read of THIS article. I wouldn't be surprised if they are about to update Street View and have removed it pending an update. It'll probably be back tomorrow without you having to do anything.

It's probably the main reason why I won't get an Android phone; I don't trust Google.
In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.

It is important to be honest for Google to have a kill switch. It should allow removal of malicious apps should someone attempt it, esp as you don't have such a regulated environment as Apple. Apple has a double kill switch firewall in effect-in App store approval and the same as Google. As for not trusting Google- would you trust any company after reading these forums?

Google Navigation is still Beta so probably either an update or a fault. Wouldn't overly worry about it- someone has already reported it to Google team.
