O2 Priority List

I have a question regarding early upgrade on O2. My contract is up on 7 October but, as a Priority Gold customer, I am eligible for upgrade tomorrow.

I would like to take advantage of this and get the new iPhone 4 earlier than October and as I've only ever upgraded online/over the phone, I want to know if I can also upgrade early in store?

Thanks for your replies.

I rang O2 Customer Services from my phone (402) and was told I could only upgrade over the phone, which I thought was a bit strange as I'd received a text message to say that I would be eligible to upgrade early as I'm an O2 Priority Gold customer.

Although, to be fair, the person on the phone did not go into my account and I did not mention the iPhone 4 specifically. Perhaps it may have been different if they actually looked at my account with the iPhone 4 in mind.

I've been keeping an eye on stock updates and, as soon as there is stock available in my area, I will be going into the store and upgrading my phone
