Lloyds tsb phone insurance nightmare

Just warning anyone with added value account their phone insurance provided by Life Style Services is a nightmare.
Have read various reviews mistly bad but some good. I damaged my iphone 3gs a few weeks ago the back case has a big gap on one side and there is a sharp piece of plastic sticking up next to the phone jack.
After nearly two weeks and £30 excess they have wiped all my settings & software and tested it and sent it back with no repair.
Also they claim to update there online system so you can monitor the claim which they never do. They also got funny with me phoning and told me they would email me when my phone was on the way back which they failed to do so.
