Where to go in Turkey

Hi,
After a lot of searching looks like Turkey is a good option this year, however i don't know where to go.
We stayed in Turunc 4 years ago which was nice but didnt get to see anything else. Icemeler is tempting or Kalkan sounds nice.
Were both in our mid 20's like good food, nice beach but also if there are some sights to see nearby would be good! We would probably look at a villa/apartment rather than a hotel.
Any ideas/suggestions appreciated.
thanks

Well only 1 area for me ! The Fethiye area, which includes Calis,Hisaronu and Olu Deniz. Far superior to all the other areas imotravelover0

I have been to Ichmelor lots of times, it lovely there. Its not party city like Marmaris is, but does have some nice places to eat and drink. I dont think there is much in the way of trips in the area but the town has a really nice atmosphere to it, with a canal running down the middle and a nice prominade on the front. Also if you get a dolmus to marmaris, about half way get it to drop you off at the bar on the cliff top, it over looks the whole of ichmelor and is really nice to chill out and have a few drinks of an evening.0

Check out the Mosaic Apartments in Olu Deniz, I have seen them and they are absolutely fantastic with swim up rooms and apartments.

Side is lovely. Near to many sites and half way between Antalya and Alanya.0

We looked at these and they look really nice.
I've been to Olu Deniz for three years in a row, and I want to go again
Lovely laid back resort with no loud discos or nightclubs. Perfect place just to chill out. It's got fantastic scenery and there are plenty of things to see and do in the area. Here I go again on my own....0 -

That could be because you are booking through an agency. I have a price list which is less than that. Our friends stayed there and it was very reasonable in June.

There are deals around Side for 4* AI for a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers in 2 rooms including flights for about £2000-£2300 for a week in August at the moment (I know cos that's one of the areas we are considering), so £1600 just for accommodation is a bit steep!British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0
