Blackberry/iPhone Issues with O2

Hello
(Sorry if this is in the wrong place!)
I had a Blackberry with a contract from O2. I was told by O2 customer service that I could be transfered over to an iPhone contract and then put my sim in my friend's old phone (he upgraded to iphone 4 and loves it!)
Anyway, I've just received my next bill and it's nearly three times what I normally pay (yep I am going to phone customer service again)
I just wondered if anyone else had had a similar problem

Did you have any internet access included in your package on your Blackberry? If not and you've been paying for internet as you go, that will be your problem. Upgrade your tariff to an iPhone one. It should only cost you about a tenner. In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0

Would the Blackberry internet go via the blackberry server i.e. the £5 per month for Blackberry server. As iPhone uses a different web access point then it is not included within the BB data allowance and hence why costs more. Just heard that somewhere else so not 100% certain.0

Blackberry is a service on it's own. The money you pay for unlt. e-mail and internet is specific only to the Blackberry handset.
You can call them up, drop the Blackberry element of your bill and replace it with a web bolt on.0 -
you should probably just give them a call and ask them. o2 charged me £50 odd quid for changing to the Blackberry package and when I rang up to ask why it was so much as my bill is £27, they had actually combined two of my bills (for some reason) which ment I didn't have to pay for the next months bill, but went on to paying the normal £27 after that... so maybe its something to that effect!0
