I haven't got any children, surely that would be more costly than two horses.
Nina, I mean well, but that is quite a dodgy argument. You need to budget and organise your finances according to your means as they are, not based on any hypothetical savings.
You have taken out two loans in rapid succession earlier this year -what were they for? If they were to make ends meet, it sounds like you're in Debt Crisis.
The good news is that you are starting to recognise this, and have come here for help. Please take the advice, it is all meant well. If you're trying to build a future with your boyfriend, the right steps now can make it a reality. You may seriously need to re-think the horses.I'm a...I'm a real traditionalist of course0 -
It looks like you should be able to muddle by until October when the loan finishes.
Have you looked into whether there is any PPI on the laon? Can you reclaim this?

You're paying far too much for the critters.
I don't judge you because I don't know you but, with all that money going on Jeeps, Horses, Cats etc you look to be living beyond your means.
I hope it works for you but I would take a hard long look at those costs."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -
With regards to the mortgage, they requested a reference from my employer, which i believe was the last item they wanted before they send in the valuers...
Should i pull out? The property was a great price at £75k and needs no work at all, ready to move it etc...I was hoping to use my widows pension for my half of the mortgage and get my two loans down to one payment and then get rid of the car (HP ends oct this year @ £173 pm @ 0%)....i can't sell my horses, i love them.0 -
livery is monthy. both loans are monthly as is the car and both insurances.
my lessons and petrol are weekly and so is cat food. straw is monthly and hay is every two weeks. .i shouldn't have been talked into another loan by my bank and maybe i should have had them over 5 yrs instead of 3yrs?? what a mess im in..is there any hope for me?0 -
Hi
Are these ALL your outgoings? If you add up your outgoings as they stand (without paying anything towards your overdraft) you have £194 left over?? By your post you quite clearly don't have this money left. I would suggest a spending diary to see where this is going.
Move your bank account, ditch or reduce the £25 pm bank account (unless this means the interest rate will then go throught the roof??? - so please check).
The only other thing I can suggest is check to see if you can get any of your insurances cheaper.
Someone with better knowledge about these things than me will be along soon.
Good luck.Mortgage Free x 1 03.11.2012 - House rented out Feb 2016
