Well that was when I had a car.. either wife's or mine on the drive, the other on the road..

3 Motorbikes kept in the garage - along with all the other rubbish that one day might be usefull..

Dunno about the government but the cash-strapped council here are apparently on the verge of implementing a blanket £1.50 charge for on-street parking in the central area between 6pm and 8/9am depending on zone.

Residents already have to pay around £80 a year for an on-street permit in the central zones.

As for me - I keep my car off-road in the garage when I'm at home but have to use a public car park or on-road when I'm at my partner's.

but as soon as poss it's going in the garage - I only moved in 5 days ago though so the garage still has stuff in it that was put there when I moved & I haven't cleared it into the shed etc yet
