Can you ask too many questions?

I agree with other posters, normally if I get someone who starts asking too many questions, they get blocked, you just get that smell about some buyers.
Op you have done the right thing blocking them I think.0 -

Good job you blocked them before they bid, but I probably would have deleted the bid anyway.
It would be nice to block her messages (i might see if they take the hint first before looking into it) i just hate seeing i've got messages at the moment!0 -
I blocked someone last week who sent me 18 messages over 3 days
She then asked me why I'd blocked her, needless to say I didn't reply...:j30/7/10:j

Eep, 18 msgs over 3 days is seriously interested!
I've had a couple today from someone asking about a BIN price as he'll be away when the auction ends blah blah blah..
First of all he offered a laughably low price to end early, so I answered with a reasonable price, and by the time he responds someone else has bid on the item. So I'm not sure what to do now. Seems a bit unfair to now cancel the other bidders bid, so that I can relist as BIN for someone else. :S0 -

Tell him to bid his highest price now then0 -
That's what I sent:
"Now that there is a bid on the item, I can't change it, so will be honouring the auction, as it's not really fair to other bidders to cancel their bids. If you did want a chance of winning, why not place your highest bid before you go away - if you win, I'll be happy to wait for payment until you return. Have a nice time away.
Kind regards, piratefairy."
Think that was ok??!0 -

All ok except the "I'll be happy to wait for payment until you return" bit, they may take 2 months to pay!!!0

Oh, I guess. He said he was away when the auction ended, for a few days. I didn't want to seem rude by turning down the offer, so thought that kept it friendly.....but you could be right. They have one less watcher now anyway - i'm assumig that was him!0
