    I'm really sorry you received such unsatisfactory responses when you contacted us about your gas leak.

    As several others have posted, gas leaks within a property are not the responsibility of the supplier and we wouldn't generally consider reducing bills as a consequence. The agents you spoke to should have made this clear.

    As we failed to give you the correct information, I would ask for a payment arrangement to spread the bill over a more manageable period of time.

    Again, I'm sorry the agents you dealt with didn't explain things more clearly. Give me a shout if you need any more info as will be happy to help.
