Help with Rightmove stats

Hi
We have had our house on the market for about 6 weeks but no viewings so far. Our previous rightmove stats were above average for the estate agents but the most recent 2 weeks show below average for all areas.
Speaking to the agent they say the market is very slow in this area, Newport South Wales, and that it is too soon to drop the price.
Do these stats suggest the market is slow or would repricing help to get some people through the door?
Thanks

We get rightmove stats from our estate agent, and dropping the price did improve the statistics, but hasn't got any more people through the door.
I think it is true to say that the market is slow in most areas at the moment (see my thread on 'Number of viewings in June', so I think the key is to make sure that you are competitive on price compared to similar properties in your area, but if the price is correct, dropping it even further in my opinion would be a bit hasty. How urgently do you need to sell, and how important is it to get the asking price?0 -
Surely if the Market is slow then dropping the price will be a good thing to do? If there are less buyers about you need to better and or cheaper than the competition.Debt Is Slavery.0

Maybe the stats are your neighbours, friends, family and people who are stalking you .... and they've got bored watching.0

Do you have a link for us to look at, so we can give you a "stranger's opinion/viewpoint" over what we like, what we don't like ... and how we (unbiased) think you stack against your competition?0

We don't need to sell for another 18 months but the sooner the better.
I can't post a link as too new
Would be grateful for any advice0 -
Post the link, then go through it putting spaces in it ... we can join it up again.
Or, give us the property reference number, or the postcode.0 -

What a beautiful house you have. I'd be round there like a shot if I were looking.
If anything it could only be the price because that house ticks my boxes and I'm sure it would other peoples because I have impeccable taste
Attractive frontage, big rooms, period features with modern style.
It's lovely. Someone will fall in love with it.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
