Orange Advice - Problem Phone

There's no inherent problem with the 8520 as far as I'm aware, if the handset is freezing up it's probably due to the data you're putting on it0

Get your PAC code and move yourself onto a Pay as you go contract with another provider (Voda or O2?). Then apply for a new contract witn Orange and transfer your number back from the PAYG sim onto the new contract with a better phone.
That is probably the worst advice I have read on this forum for a long time. And you should know better, Oscar. You know very well that if the OP did that, their Experian record would be marked and their Credit Rating would be severely affected. Debt collectors would eventually be appointed and the full contract rental would be sought by Orange. That is, of course, assuming that Orange would actually give them the PAC code.
The last thing anyone in dispute should do to a network is cancel their DD.0 -
Thanks for all the advice guys. I am going to do another reset and check for updated software, if its still the same I will get them to send me a new one.
My friends 8520 has the same issue on O2 and other I know have a problem with it locking. its not my first BB I have had them for years and never had an issue before so I just wondered what my options were as I am sometimes glued to my phone for personal and work so I need one that reliable.
