His Mum solved the problem by going to the hospital where they gave her some wrist bands - the kind newly born babies wear and wrote 'allergic to...' where the name would normally go. Problem solved and very MSE too!
Well, not very MSE for the NHS who have to pay for them.
You can buy them but they have to be cut off so the OP would need at least one for every day.0 -
A tattoo...now that's an idea.

Those fabric bracelets look like the best bet. Guess we'll go for one of those, should fit him up until 5 or 6 by the looks of it, pretty MSE for £15.0 -

I have one for my son who has Autism and one for DD who has severe allergies to horse hair - even touches someone who has touched a horse is enough to trigger it - anyway, they would last much older than age 6 to be honest, I can get them on my wrists. You can buy replacement straps for them as well if you want to change them.
I was really impressed, I posted on MSE after I got them.0 -
Might be worth having a look at the allergyuk website , there is a forum on there which may be helpful. Poor wee thing, hope he is well.Booo!!!0

HTH.
Can recommend this company as I use them myself - the products are nice and the customer service is very good.
