ok, having tried to do the retentions thing with O2 for the new wildfire and being told they dont have any. i decided vodafone was the way to go. went into the shop and chatted to the lass in there and she said ill get vodafone to call you ( i wanted 2 phones on contract) as they can do you a deal. the man from vodafone rang and gave me a deal that i wanted to take up. unfortunatley in order to keep my number i needed both PAc codes, so i took his name and nubmer and siad i will fone O2 and call you back. everytime i try and call him i get a this number is temproarily unavailable message. if i fone voadfone they say he works in outbound calls and they cant put me through. if i speak to inboud sales, they cant do me the same deal. any suggestions?

I got a call from this number with Vodafone outbounds but basically it could be a 3rd party working alongside Vodafone who will offer you something better than going direct with Vodafone but get commission from them to keep your custom: 008080024636

edit: Or go back into the shop and ask them to call you again?

I doubt if the genuine Vodafone outbound team are going to offer you anything if you aren't a Vodafone customer. A third party pretending to be Vodafone maybe ...
