Holiday Suggestion - Greece

Hi - I'm planning a holiday to Greece in mid September, for a couple approx £450 pp, ideally 4*+ and AI. We're happy to book last minute but as this will mean we can't be as fussy about where, we wondered if there were any particular Islands or resorts to go to, or as importantly, to avoid! We don't want Ayia Napa style type nightlife, just something relaxing, a few watersports, maybe some old ruins, that sort of thing.
Any suggestions, greatly appreciated!

I am looking to go to Greece too in September/beginning of October and don't want to spend more than £400 PP really. Flying from any London or Cardiff/Bristol. Just me and my partner.
Great if you could help me too !If dogs don't go to heaven, then I want to go where they go. :A0 -
Make sure you stay somewhere where it is ok to flush toilet paper down the toilet, rather than placing it in a little bin next to the toilet......0

Go to firstchoice.com and go to the Margarita Hotel in Zante. It is only 3+ star and all inclusive, but I would say it is better that most 4 or 5 star hotels.0

have a look at the blue domes resort and spa in kos - it is 5 star AI and they have some great deals especially if you can go out of school holidays
I have just booked with this company and in oct they have it for under £500 each which is excellent given what you get when you are there

We stayed at the San Giorgio, Skala, Kefalonia in June for two weeks and had a great time. Flew from Cardiff S/C (I wouldn't go AI as there are fabulous inexpensive places to eat). The hotel is 3 km from the centre of Skala but we through the walk was no problem. I have posted comments here 23 June

Please note there is no problem when you can't flush toilet paper! Same applies in Turkey and never an issue so please don't be put off.

We went on a belated "honeymoon" to Corfu (yeah, I know, it "sounds common" lol) at the same week you're looking at last year. It was perfect. We stayed in Paleokastrista- I won't reccommend the apartments as whilst they were excellent, you're looking for something different. Paleo was incredibly beautiful, our view of the bays was amazing. In fact, Corfu is a really stunning island with lots to offer- just avoid the southern tip

Oh, and another tip- the big plants with huge fruits on them which are ripe for the picking in September...don't. They may look pretty, and harmless- but just because you can't see the prickles doesn't mean they're not prickley pears...:oDTD...Dreading The Detox.0
