  • I picked mine up at Boots this afternoon. It's a lovely big pot, and smells divine. Not sure how long this will sit in the prezzie box for ;)

I got Marie Claire today. Great couple of freebies (the Neutrogena and the Sanctuary stuff, if I can get it tomorrow in town).

Have to say though, it looks impressive as it's almost as thick as a paperback book - but what a dire magazine!!.......chock full of adverts, extortionate fashion, glossy but boring pictures. The only articles I have read so far are repeats of things I have already read in 'normal weeklies' (e.g. the psychiatrist who had a mad Spanish stalker).

Only worth it for the freebies (thanks to OP), but you won't find me subscribing, LOL!! :rotfl:

Hi again, just thought of a few more magazines with offers and coupons this week, some already posted on other threads but may be worth me adding them here for a central place for magazine offers....

Woman magazine (Sept 11, on sale till next Monday @85p, Jessie Wallace on front) has a voucher for a free Slim-fast smoothie from Tesco, worth £1.19. The coupon has the Tesco logo so methinks you will have to buy the item...

Love-it magazine (5-11 Sept @ special price of 30p) has 2 coupons for 30p each off your (and your friend's;) ) next purchase of Love-it magazine, to be used by 18 Sept. Coupons will scan at tesco/Asda/Waitrose without buying the product (even scans at Sainsbury's if the till person doesn't check that you've bought the mag!). Here's the thread, interesting possible coupons if you subscribe, don't know if they would scan without buying the mag:

Closer & First magazine bundle, costs £1.10, has coupons worth £1.20 off next purchase of First magazine. Here's the thread on that one:

Any more? Maybe we can keep this thread going with weekly updates?

How do you get hold of aussie frizz remedy please, The Old Bag? I've had a look on the website but there's nothing obvious.

I meant to say MBN, thanks very much for this thread. I'd love to buy these magazines all the time but I can't usually justify the expense. However, if they have freebies that I'd use / give as prezzies that would match / exceed the cover price, well, that's a different matter...It'd be rude not to! ;)

Glad I could help Happy shopper, and thanks for your kind words.:T Similarly, I tend to buy such magazines only if they've got something more 'substantial' ;) to offer. With help from this site, I managed to get some very useful magazine freebies and coupons in the past. May this long continue!;)
