hiya
desparately trying to get into couponing! picked up somerfield mag yesterday and have just cut out my coupons!!
can i just double check if i actually have to buy the items or should be able to use the coupons off the value off my shopping at Somerfield?? also, is there a limit (%wise of £wise) that i can use in one go?
many thanks for any replies, and here (hopefully!) to making savings.0 -
if you're using the coupons in somerfield, you will have to buy the product. if you're using them in tesco then you dont have to buy the product, so long as they sell it, the coupon will scan. However, id be wary of using too many, if any, somerfield coupons in tesco as they wont be able to claim their money back from them. Better to use more general manufacturer's coupons.plzhelpmesave! wrote: »hiya

I second that advice, please don't use Somerfield vouchers at Tesco....in an extreme case it could cause the coupon-policy to change at your local branch.
You need to give Tesco coupons they can redeem for money back, like the ones in Best Magazine, or the ones in Daz boxes (coupon-flashed boxes are still available at some stores).
Or have a look on https://www.paidtoshop.co.uk where you can swap coupons so you get a good mix. For instance, if your local large store has new quitkit envelopes pick up loads and swap some on pts for different coupons!
Or have a look at the Tesco clothing vouchers thread, or the Tesco H&B vouchers thread. You can use Tesco's own instore vouchers together to get your shopping free....or at least very heavily reduced in price....PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The third one in the offer is Now magazine, I just bought it with Pick me Up as I already had Woman. Must admit haven't done a coupon-check yet as been too busy...but I will post soon if I spot some!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hope this hasn't been posted before:
April 2007 edition of Gardeners' World cost £3.20 in a plastic bag, inside is a voucher for a free bag of compost worth up to £2.99 and free lettuce, tomato and chive seeds.
The voucher scans as money off at Tescos at £2.99 (used mine today at Tescos without purchasing the compost). So 21p for a great read and free seeds is a total bargain ! not sure of the expiry date of the voucher as I used it today before posting on here.
Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL
