To be honest if you've got loads of good china and it look like you have then you might be better off getting your local auctioneers in to have a look or take some pieces along to a free valuation day, they all do them just give them a call, their addresses should be in yellow pages or on http://www.yell.com/
Alternatively see if http://chinasearch.co.uk/sell-to-us/ has any interest in your items. They say they collect.
The problem with Ebay is it's a lot of bother if you've got lots to sell what with describing each item and doing lots of photo's to do the item justice and then there's the packing to keep it safe and arrive in one piece.
Thank you Pembroke, I knew i could rely on you to put me in the right direction:A0 -
I have a sort of related question, can anyone recommend a good place to buy a jewellers loup? I don't really know how to tell a good one from a bad one but don't want to spend too much as I'm not sure I will be able to use it as I wear specs.
I'm using a magnifying glass to try and read marks and hallmarks and it is just too difficult.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. There's some cheap ones here, but not being a specialist couldn't tell you if they are any good

Hi Soo, I usually buy off Ebay, such as this one. 150445976868 I usually buy them in pairs because when I'm at the boot fairs I invariably get asked where I got it from and then I have a spare I can sell on. Good enough magnification to see if a picture is a print or original which is what I tend to use them for.0
