You shouldn't need to write letters to clairvoyants.DFW Nerd 0350 -

That's interesting, is it a shared shop/post office or just a proper post office. My little local one closed down, despite it being the only one for about 2miles and having a bloomin' great Waitrose next door that could have taken it on.
The nearest one is the main office, and as I said before it is the same horrific experience every one else seems to have. Oh how I wish Waitrose would open a post office across the road...._pale_My Mind wanders, if found please return.0 -

Seriously, a friend of mine asked me to come with her to a psyhic fair...and it was closed due unforseen circumstances.....funniest thing was the Clairvoyants were still turning up. :rotfl:My Mind wanders, if found please return.0 -

It is the main PO , about a year ago they put a grocery store into it and changed the opening times.0 -
OMG as if I wasn't already hacked off with the mail service, they make it 5 MILLION times worse. Grrr.
I got my degree certificate through the post today. In an envelope. Clearyly marked in big red letters "PLEASE DO NOT BEND". Guess what? You got it. All round the edges it was tatty, bent and just plain scruffy. Not very nice, eh? Luckily, the cardboard inside had protected my certificate a bit and it is only tatty for a few inches down the side. Still, not very impressed. I mean, do they do it on purpose? The envelope was clearly marked and it had a uni emblem on so it was obviously a degree certificate so why did they let it get bent? I'm really quite upset about it and needed to vent soooo much. grrr

Seeing as most universities now CHARGE parents, yes charge, to go to the graduation ceremonies, you'd at least think they'd do the rest of the job properly and send it in a box for like £1 extra. That would be too easy wouldn't it...
Congratulations btw
ThanksI feel so clever.
I'll email university and tell them. It's not on really, especially if they pay the royal mail to send it properly.
The uni didn't charge our guests. Surprising though, they charged a bomb for everything else. Ridiculous! Don't they think they get enough money out of us, what with tuition fees etc.
Rant over.

I wonder what the person behind you thinks...... agitated, clock watching, impatient person looking at their supermarket shopping list0
