I think what you have misunderstood is that you MUST offer Paypal otherwise you cannot sell on Ebay. The buyer has the right to chose and may chose other methods if you offer them. But Paypal has to be offered.
No I did not misunderstand, God what is wrong with you lot on here, I came on this forum with a simple statement of fact and all that has came out of it is several holier than thou attitudes and someone furthering his own vendetta against the system............

....... the situation at the moment with PayPal is this ........ eBay sent me an invoice for there fees, I replied by refusing to pay until my money was released. This morning money was released by PayPal, eBay invoice is now paid ......... sorted

Please don't blame the forum for the obvious misunderstanding with the other posters. Most people here are very helpful.

Now shall we all agree that you can't sell if you don't accept Paypal as one of the payment methods, but you don't have to use it for every transaction?
    And we all move on?

However I do agree that your thread was somewhat high jacked, but this happens unfortunately.

    Good answer, thank you ..............

I understand about threads being 'high jacked', I run my own forum for ex servicemen and all though the age group is varied up to and past pensions, sometimes its like trying to put the kids to bed .........

..... and as you say move on, having read a few more topics it seems a very interesting and well organised forum here.
