Quick question about return

OK got a new phone on contract yesterday (you can guess which one) and I've been with it for less than 24 hours. The two main things I use the phone for are 1. Phone and 2. Internet and it's hopeless at both as it looses the connection and I'm not about be forced into paying another £25 for a case to sort it out. Now obvously I'm well within the 14 day cooling off period so can return but I have a few specific questions:
1. Do I have to return it to the same store or will any o2 store do?
2. I was on PAYGO before and transferred my number and credit to the contract. Can I transfer this all back again?
3. Obviously I will be billed for the usage I have made (1 days line rental), can I just pay this when returning or do I have to wait and keep the direct debit open?
Thanks!

Does O2 have a 14 day cooling off period? Normally when you take out a contract in a shop there is NO cooling off period. On-line periods only apply if you haven't used the phone. Why don't you ask the horse's mouth (i.e. call O2!)?0

Confirmed by the salesman and it clearly says on the back of the contract that you can return the handset and cancel the contract within 14 days. If you have activated the sim youjust have to pay the pro rata line rental and and chargeable calls.mobilejunkie wrote: »Does O2 have a 14 day cooling off period? You're fine for the return then.
To answer 3, you'll have to leave the DD open. The store won't know your usage, it can take a day or so for the billing info to show. You should have been given a billing date when you signed up, it'll take the ££ then.0
