i think i ahve found th correct dpf for my car on ebay .....
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230488128823&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
so i had a quick look under the car at the exhaust system and i couldnt see the dpf housing ??
i could see what looks like the cat(has some sort of bash gaurd over it.
is the dpf meant to be in front of or after the cat??
on my car after the cat is a long centre section pipe.
im a qualified aircraft technician so know one end of a spanner from the other!!
if you could give me a run thorugh what i need to do that would be brilliant as im running out of time before i go to the falklands for 4 months and the car will then be left with the wife!!
thanks again
steve
well not really had much dealings with fords but the dpf is normally before the cat.looking at the picture it looks relatively simple to renew once the car is up in the air on stands.
looks like a case of removing sensor and bolts and dropping it out.
as you are mechanically minded i am sure once you got it up in air it will be obvious how the thing comes out.0 -

You'd be better starting a new thread rather than adding to a 2 year old one.0
