Problem with Nokia X6 on Three

Both me and my wife have Nokia X6's on 3 and am getting extremely
poor reception since changing from Nokia 6220 classics to the X6. Three has had the phones back twice first for software issues and secondly for the poor reception. I believe the problem is that the X6 will not revert to
GSM on low signal strength unlike the 6220. As I no longer have a decent service (we have had the phone longer than the 28 day no quibble swop
period) what are my legal options and has anyone else a solution to the x6
problem.
Thanks Hugh.

My mate downloaded a program called 'nemesis service suite' to change the product code to a generic Euro code (non 3 branded)
This will totally invalidate your 3 guarantee and could kill your phone, so be warned that tinkering about with this stuff is not childs play
On the flip side you can install the generic software and this gives all the menus (and removes the operator specific menus - including planet 3). This will let you choose GSM only in the operator selection area
This is at your own riskbaldly going on...0 -
Have you got the connectivity set to dual mode and operator selection set to automatic? (settings>connectivity>network). I think it is shipped with these settings so you probably have already, but worth checking.0
