Pleased to hear you have had a good start to the birthday week. It's my dh's birthday tomorrow and we have been celebrating with a meal last night - now all I need to do is remember what I've done with the birthday card I bought and put in a 'safe' place LOL.

Help needed here please - I have never subscribed to diaries but just saved them in my favourite thingie on my general computer - then just brought up and read where I've left off on the few diaries I have time for (I already spend far too much time on here!!) - I have done this ages but puter now says it is not a valid link or something - so I have subscribed but end up scrolling through to find out where I'm up to - no easy task on Mrs Hpno's fast moving one - is there a better way for me to keep up LOL - thanks

Happy birthday to your DH milann!

As for the subscribed threads thing - I am afraid that I have no idea as I don't subscribe to any threads at all, I just scroll through the pages to find the ones I dip in and out of.

Talking of which, I am sorry I am not commenting much on other diaries right now - there is a lot of "stuff" going on with me at the mo, and I am bothered that I might transfer some of my negativity to others, and that just won't do.....so bear with me, and when I have energy and positivity in abundance, I will happily share it around xxx

No apologies needed Hypno, have a hug instead (((((((hypno))))))))

And milann, I have a bit of a system, but it's a bit of a palava, and I don't know whether it's the done thing or not... :o I just press the thanks button for everyone that's posted (unless they've said something ludicrously obnoxious, of course! :rotfl: (or I just accidentally miss them out :rotfl:). I only do this with diaries, and I only subscribe to a few. Means I can tell at a glance where the last time I got up to was! :o

No idea whether that's what I'm meant to be doing :D But I really *do* genuinely thank everyone who posts on diaries, supports people, and makes this lovely site tick over, so I figure it all works out beautifully in the end :D

(but please don't tell me off right now if it's all the wrong thing to do, I'm feeling a little fragile at the minute! :o)

We all have down days (weeks, start to panic if it goes to months :rotfl:) & it is understandable after all you have been through this year. Tying up the loose ends can really take it out of you, even in the most amicable of splits. (sorry if I am way off the mark here)
