Hope you get the Take That tickets Hypo.
Just posted this on the Matrix thread, but as I really got into the capsule more on your thread, I thought I should put it here aswell :
"Well feeling grotty today, cold has landed, so sneezing, headachey and generall blurp
Anyway the one good thing is at least the capsule wardrobe is working
Today is straight black slim leg trousers (M&S) , black ankle boots (TKMaxx) with 2 to 3" heels (I'm nearly 5' 8", so the tall look), cream cotton/cashmere sleeveless top (Bicester outlet village), indigo (denim shade of blue) kimono style fine knit merino wool 3/4 length jacket/cardie (TKMaxx) and an ethnic style indigo and blue patterned scarf with pink embroidery and brown beads from Didi.nl.
Yesterday was basically the same, but a short sleeved black merino wool fine knit top (TKMaxx), gave a slightly longer look.
So the capsule wardrobe is working, and also with travelling it's standing up well to being handwashed in hotel washbasins, and drying on plastic hangers over the bath
How are other people getting on with theirs? "0 -

It has taken me all morning, mind, so now I need to do some serious work to catch up!!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Now thats clever! Well done you and benben!
As for the capsule wardrobe .... erm, I'm still on the decluttering. For extra warmth the last few days, I was wearing a shirt in a material I absolutely love (between t shirt and fleece  I'm still cold all the time). Anyway, altho I love the material, its a man's XXXL, so completely shapeless on me, and there's a label stub on the neck that hurts my neck. So!!!! I threw it - rescued the buttons for craft projects, and cut the back out of it to keep for the patchwork I'd talked of. I'm very proud of myself  I think :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
KC - I had to throw out all of the mens XL cotton Tesco t-shirts - well they were comfortable

Someone at work was mad because her husband was offered the chance to buy two tickets for Take That complete with backstage passes and turned them down because the cost £400 (not sure if that is singly or for the pair). She said he was putting a price on the value of their marriage.
I don't think I'd have paid it either.0 -
Paul at work says thank you for the Ticketmaster Ireland tip. He had been trying all morning unsuccessfully with Ticketmaster UK and told his wife he couldn't get them. Now he is going to keep them a surprise until Christmas Day.0

Hurrah!!!!!
I love this site
As for £400 with backstage passes. I would have paid it - once in a lifetime opportunity and all that. Who needs food when you have the chance to meet Robbie et al
