The teaching money won't start to come through until end of November, but then I should get paid for a two or three workshops at the end of December, and possibly again at the end of January, so it is nice and steady which suits me perfectly. It will all be going towards clearing my barclayloan early.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. You're still going to clear the Barclaycard loan early, then, Hypno? Excellent news ... I'm glad its all running smoothly for you, drippy and nearly 40 or not
a certain science fiction actor is 40 in December, and his official fan site is having another auction for charity in honour.... the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada will benefit ... we could do an mse auction and put your running shoes on ebay? 2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I need to clear the barclayloan as soon as I can because it is £317 a month that I am currently paying, and which could be used for much more fun things in life!
The idea is to get what I can put away over the next 6 months, then to balance up with some of my bonus at the end of May, so that it is gone one way or another by that time.
Of course, if I get to move house, it will hopefully be gone before then anyway, but the closer we get to Christmas, the less likely I will be moving in the short term (although I am still sending out very positive requests to the Universe on that one!).Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Happy Plan, hypno.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hypno - if you would be willing to move quickly, like before Christmas, it might be worth telling the agent, it's a plus point to people who want to move in somewhere quickly (e.g. if a purchase has fallen through and they don't want to lose a sale). But the downside is maybe having to rent if you can't tie sale & purchase up for the same dates. Have you looked into contingency plans/cost for that?0

My intended purchase is chain free, so the agents know we can move quickly. I think I have covered every "what if?" scenario!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

"My intended puchase"????? I have missed something big here! You are really moving? And now? Pls tell me which page of your diary the news is on.
Congrats on the running. I was running regularly but have slackened off. Today I woke up early and thought of going for a run, but instead just lay in my cosy bed for an hour!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Happy Payday to you Hypno!
I think as well as sending requests to the Universe - you should imagine the agents ringing you with the right offer and you accepting. Start packing some things, if you haven't already and really picture yourself moving. Imagine putting the tree up in your new house - really visualise yourself being there right now. You never know.....it might just work

Seax, my house is up for sale.....I've not sold it yet, but I do know where I want to be going to. So no news as such, but hopefully there will be in the not too distant future!
I'm not forced to sell, but think the fresh start (and the reduced mortgage) will be good for me.
I will keep you updated, either on here or on FB!
mac - oh, believe me, I am visualising away! DD has taken it one step further, as she now babysits for the lady who currently rents the place.....so she is virtually moved in :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
