Well, apart from my walk this morning, I certainly haven't done a lot today. I have got stuff ready for my lesson I am teaching on Saturday, so that is something, but have done very little else.

    :o

True, KC - normally I leave my lesson prep until the last minute, so I am improving!!!

Sorry to hear about your poorly OH SE, but glad that Hypno's poorly boiler is fixed!

Chilly here today too - been for a walk this afternoon and by the time we got back there was a definite nip in the air. Heating's not going on yet though. We made the beginning of December last year so would ideally like to repeat. We'll see though!

Did you enjoy Benjamin Button too, not really wanted to see that, but maybe it's better than expected.

OH update - he's been sleeping since getting back to the hotel other than me popping pills in and trying to get him to drink water. Basically it's a case of hoping they picked the right antiobiotics, which according to google they did pick the best ones for the symptoms (sorry but I do double check :o ), also translated the med side effects and instructions via google to make sure we'd got it right. Anyway likely to be at least a couple of days for results/benefits, so we're here for a while.

Main advice to people is do get your EHIC cards and check their expiry date, especially if your funds flow is tight. Basic consultation would have been over 60 Euros, with the card charged nothing. Prescription is nearly 30 euros, but hopefully can claim something from EHIC or travel insurance etc.. Ours expired in September, and fortunately I spotted it and renewed.

When we arrived at the hospital they were so pleased it was a 'simple' EHIC card.

What is film number 3 Hypno? Is this now going to be the film review thread ? :D

H - the broken heating was the Universe's way of saying you should come over to help my DD move in. It was lovely and warm there. Where were you ? 1.gif

PS - am liking the indoor [STRIKE]tip[/STRIKE] recycling centre at Norwich :D

PPS - glad the heating is fixed :T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

se it was a good film but I wouldn't rush to see it again. I don't normally sit down for long enough to watch films so this certainly won't be turning into a film review thread anytime soon!

gallygirl - if I had known the move was today, I would have brought around a cup of sugar. I hope all went well and that DD will be very happy in her new home!!
