    Morning all.......FRIDAY :j

Red, I am secretly quite excited about having such order in my life :o

This morning I was a little less rushed, but then I wasn't trying to fit so much into the time.....I will get the balance right over the next few days and sort out a routine that works. I did get breakfast, and I didn't have to hurry my hair and make up so its all good!

Nothing to report moneywise - payday is a week away, but the bank accounts are as I expect, so that will do. Certainly could be a lot worse!

    Have a good day x

Excellent that this morning went a little better Hypno! :T Doesn't take long for these things to become a habit :T

Thought of you yesterday - a friend on another forum queued up to see Gok, and got a kiss from him and was interviewed on Anglia Today! :rotfl: :rotfl: :T

As for 'making an effort' - I spent most of my life in jeans and t shirts. I love dressing up, just could never really be bothered :o Met Mr Daffs, and he's always well dressed :D Not stupidly smart, but he's got style :rotfl: :rotfl: Always a shirt, quite often a waistcoat :D And always a jacket of some kind, and usually when out of the house a hat :D He has always thought a bit of glamour makes you swagger and gives you self confidence, and over the years I've taken on board what he says.

Bizarrely, I now have a reputation at my new job for being dressed well - something completely and utterly alien, so much so that it makes me laugh every time I hear it :rotfl:

And ALL of my clothes come from charity shops, some of them I made myself, and some of them are even out of a skip :D :rotfl: I take absolutely no notice of what's in fashion, try to ALWAYS wear colourful things, and standing up straight always helps too! :T

It's strange - I always defended my jeans and t shirt thinking that it shouldn't matter what you wear, but now I see it's not really about clothes per se, but attitude, and my attitude in jeans and t shirt was that I didn't have much of a figure anyway, and wasn't doing anything much, so might as well slob about :o Now if I wear jeans and t shirt, I at least do it like I mean it :D :rotfl:

Sorry, just making myself giggle at how far I've come :D :rotfl:

So.....another week draws to a close. Friday evening means another week survived!

We've got another ski day tomorrow, so one of our famous early starts, so therefore apart from cooking up some chicken for some sandwiches for lunch, I won't be doing a great deal this evening.

Hope you have all had a good day x

Evening - have posted news on my own diary but thought I'd share on here as well - In 1982 I started an OU degree, did quite a bit on and off until DS and DD arrived then had to stop as there was no way we could afford the fees. I emailed them this week to ask whether those credits were still valid as they were so long ago and have had a reply t say YES !!!! I need to get either 60 Level 3 credit to graduated with either a BSc or BA or 120 credit to graduate with Honours!!!!. Am in a position to be able to afford to finish it and am really excited and jittery at the same time - can't quite believe I can really do it!!!!

Hope you had a good day!
