I should have stayed chilled on the sofa - I shifted a PC and whilst resiting it twisted and have done my back in.
Can't sit in a chair so called in sick to work Grrrr and am on the sofa with sticky deep heat patch hoping it'll help.( seem to have run out of Ibuprofen but can't stretch to the back of the medicine cupboard to check). Ho Hum
Duchy, sorry to hear this. Please get the heat patch off - this is really making it worse. Put ice on - frozen peas are perfect for that. Keep them on for five minutes and then put back in freezer. Two hours later repeat.
It works - trust me.

Sunday morning - again. DS is racing today, but I have managed to get him a lift as I have other stuff I need to do today, including another viewer to my house. So, bacon sandwiches have been made, and once he is gone I will slob on the sofa for an hour or so before gettig on with something more productive.
Off to scratch first though - I hope you all have a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
5.30am - ouch.
I tried really hard to have a lie in this morning and did - til 6.30am
Good luck with the viewings, sounds like you're getting plenty of people through the door, so a decent offer is just around the corner. Have a good day yourself0 -
Yes, that is the way I see it too - no one is giving negative feedback, so it is just a case of biding my time and knowing that the right person is out there and will walk across the doorstep soon!
DD is out doing the paper-rounds and I have made a start on the housework.....it's not too bad, but just things like emptying bins, changing bedding, and getting the recycling out, that sort of thing, but needs to be done in the next couple of hours.

Mine was very much a niche house, Hypno, but my niche buyer came along in only four weeks .... I know the market is different now, but you're in the right ball park, you've proved that, so just do what you're doing, and, you know, like Kevin's film "build it and he will come"....2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Absolutely, the challenge for MG is to rebuild a very successful business. That isn't the case for everyone - for some it will be the kick they need to set up a new business, for others it will be the encouragement to ditch some of the negativity that they have been carrying for too long, and for others it will be about simply making the best of what you have available to you and enjoying life.
I'm not out there to set up a new business, I already have things bubbling along in the background that I can make more of, such as the download site and the therapy stuff, and of course, there is every possibility that I will do more with these as a result. But, as much as anything, for me, this is about simply making the best of myself in every situation, work, home, friends, and looking to the future with positivity rather than the crapness of months and years gone by.
Rather than looking at it as investing in a new business, I am looking at it as investing in a new me. And I am having fun doing so - if I happen then to get a bit of oomph in the money-making stakes, then so much the better, but it is not the be all and end all.
thank you for putting to words how i feel about this process. I stopped looking at MG'S thread cos I started to feel uncomfortable about not being one of the ones joining in. I felt that if I wasn't participating I shouldn't be contributing. I know this is weird, and it probably had as much to do with having sinusitis for 3 weeks (yes 3 it was carp i tell you). So I will go back and have another read from where I left off.
If nothing else my house is cleaner than it has been in a long time, just because she says something (or you do lol) that propels me to do something round the house, or to do with my life that HAS moved me forward a bit, even if it is only a teensy weensy bit

Hope you are feeling better now, chev. I have had a streaming cold for a week now that shows no sign of drying up. Thankfully I feel ok in myself, but I am mightily fed up of blowing my nose!
Def revisit the thread and the challenges if you haven't already done so. The challenges, in particular, are more about "you" than business building, IMHO. As I said in the quote above, whatever you get from it, will be positive and that can only be a good thing!
Am waiting for my viewers to arrive, then as soon as they go I have to hot foot it into the city as I am supposed to be sat in the Cathedral for 11.15 for a Justices Service! Cutting it fine.......but couldn't reschedule the viewer. I just hope I am not the one they have to open the big wooden doors for to creep in after it starts, as I just *know* everyone will turn round to see who it is!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hypno good luck with the viewers...I hope the coffee machine is on for the aroma etc
Are you noticing a difference, with the cleaner, to your house and state of mind?0 -
Good luck with the viewers...maybe these are the ones to buy x0

In years gone by, this would have been a disaster. Today it is an inconvenience. That, my friends, is pretty good progress and a reason to be positive about the future.
:T:T:T:TOh well done. that sums up the journey to financial security.....
