The metro . How vulgar, isn't that for the hoi polloi :rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:just what I needed! You know the poem, "What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare?" - the giggle and the image, excellent stuff!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Getting there, taxi thanks - concentrating on the positives in life.
My purse was like yours mac - no notes to put into order, but one day.......:D
Hi Guys,
this made me laugh. And it seems that I am the recklessly rich one - doing my purse took about 50 seconds and there was £5 note in it (and £1.78 in coins).
The pleasing news is that this £5 note has been there for some time; on a second thought money has to flow and move to be powerful. So today, some spending on my main asset will be done - me, my health and welbeing.

Re decluttering purses - about a year ago, in town, we got accosted by a gipsy woman who was quite entertaining to talk to. I was in a good mood so I gave her a couple of quid. She told me that I would soon be getting some money from the Government. A few weeks later I received a totally unexpected tax rebate. I still keep the two plastic golden nuggets she gave me in my purse as a talisman - I know it is probably complete and utter bowlocks but since having them there I have managed to stretch out my salary to the end of the month, and although things are tight at times I usually manage to find the cash from somewhere. She also told me my OH would live to the age of 99. Trouble is, I have to live to 91 to see if that works out, which is a few decades away yet!One life - your life - live it!0

Lol, pickle - now you can see, though, why I am so excited by her challenges - they really are right for me at this time!
I had to laugh: I read through all the challenges and was thinking 'Hang on, I've just done that', and 'I was about to do something similar'. I think I might have to do them all now, just because I seem to have knocked some off the list without even realising the whole thing existed! Please call me 'Pickle'

Morning all - a shocking nights sleep but hey ho! Coffee will fix that one as the morning goes on!
The end of the week is here - it has gone quite quickly this week. P is coming over this evening for a catch up and dinner, so that will be good
I hope you all have a good day......off to bank and scratch!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Morning Hypno:)
Have a lovely evening tonight always good to have a friend round for chatter and food:) xNovember NSD's - 70 -
Thanks Jamie - it will be a nice start to the weekend, although I have a v.early start for skiing in the morning. P will just have to sort out her own breakfast and let herself out when she is ready to go. I am such a good hostess
10ps on the scratching, and £100 credited to my bank account - my bank did a cashback incentive for life insurance a little while back, and the cashback has now been paid, so that will go into an appropriate savings pot :T
More coffee next, a shower, and off to work!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
