The best bit was when the doorbell rang part way through - it was the lady delivering our dinner (curry....no points, of course) and we were so dedicated to shred that we insisted on waiting for our dinner until we had finished. The delivery lady didn't quite know what to make of it all
yeah but your dedication wasnt so full on that you made her wait at an unanswered door for the remainder of the twenty minutes.... i seem to recall the words "Carry on P i'll answer the door" came out all too easily!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: what shenanigans can we manage this friday i wonder!!! :cool:debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Hi Hypno, you've really bee doing some thinking! Enjoy the planning! I have started MG's diary - want to read it all! Only going to manage about 5 pages a day as seem to be very busy with life but there is so much of abuzz about it across dFW, I'm really intrigued! And by the way - I was reading MG's thread last night too
I'm currently working my way throught MG's thread too... I'm up to page 50. I have a rather random day off tomorrow (Pope is in town and there'll be major traffic chaos as half my city's roads are shutting for most of the day!) so I'm not even trying to go to work. Guess what I'll be reading all day!! :rotfl:Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Lol, pickle - now you can see, though, why I am so excited by her challenges - they really are right for me at this time!
Just home.....have been to a corporate thingy. I haven't enjoyed these sorts of things in the past, but having made the decision to get the most and more out of what I have and what I do, I decided to go along and actually to enjoy it rather than to endure it. As a result, we had a bit of a laugh, and some yummy canapes and it was all perfectly fine! I need to get myself "out there" a bit more, and today was a good start!
Sainsburys on the way home, and a whole load of yellow stickered stuff which was good.
A mooch on the boards and more "life challenge" stuff to consider, and a fairly early night I think.
I hope you have all had a good day too xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Good for you.:j It's amazing when we tackle things from a different angle and a whole lot more positivety what we can achieve when we decide to do so. Getting out there is definately a step in the right direction and laughter is soooooo underated. I too have started doing the challenges set by Mr Big and it's amazing what they "throw up." I always say it's not what you've got to deal with but how you deal with it. Obviously we are all allowed "off days" but if we can stay positive at least 80 percent of the time then we've got to be onto a winner. So well done you xxx:beer:The past is over & done & cannot be changed. Yep, I've spent most of the day reading MG's thread. I can see why you're excited - and actually, its what I've been longing for too, a community of high achievers2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I've done tonight's challenge which was to declutter my purse and my handbag of old receipts etc. One of those jobs that takes just a few mins and yet the benefit is instant.
