Another loan payment has gone out today, reducing my totals by another £265 or so......it brings the barclayloan below £6k which now looks a much more "friendly" figure for some reason!
£50 quidco money, and £5 Halifax reward money also received. This has been moved to the savings, even though I am having a skint month - the reasons being:- I need to make sure I can survive on what basic money comes in, not relying on MSE stuff
- I have no savings to fall back on, and the car problem earlier this month highlighted the stress that this can bring.
- I need to start this winter's "ski fund" for DS. This is an expense that I will be covering myself entirely, and I don't want DS to miss out, even if he doesn't do as much as in previous years.

(baby is currently asleep in my arms shes up to a whopping 4lbs 11-still getting stares and comments when we go out thou)0 -
7p is 7p.......a tin of value curry sauce can be bought for that amount
Glad that babe is doing well - you must be so pleased to have her home.
Right, off to work now.....although later in the afternoon I have been invited to "an evening of wine, nibbles and pampering" with one of the local firms of solicitors where I have been booked in for a massage, so I have something to look forward toBeats golf, which is what the guys get to do, any day

Good morning all
Well done on the new total Hypno & congrats on getting the baby home Cocalls.
Explored the local town yesterday and got 2 items for the capsule wardrobe, a new bra and a pair of black leggings. Prices are about the same as the UK, so not too bad. The travel capsule wardrobe is now getting fully utilised as well as the new look makeup from the makeover. I have to be fully presentable for 07:30 (06:30 UK time - which it still feels like with only arriving on Tuesday) for hotel breakfasts, normally meeting up with OH's work colleagues every morning, and sometimes in the evening too. It definitely helps the confidence levels.
Unfortunately got to do some dreaded ironing today  Things got crumpled in the suitcases. Only going to iron a few things as probably moving hotel/town at the weekend, and it would only get crumpled again.
Hope the massage is nice Hypno.
Hope everyone has a good day0
